Kalshi announces first enforcement action for insider trading

Kalshi has publicly revealed the results of its first insider trading investigation, identifying Artem Kaptur, an editor for YouTube creator MrBeast, as the offender. Kaptur allegedly made around $4,000 in trades related to MrBeast, achieving unusually high success rates on low-odds bets. The platform has since frozen his account, imposed a $20,000 fine, suspended him for two years, and reported the matter to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
