Portugal elects socialist president, defeating far-right.

Voters in Portugal have rejected the far-right party’s bid for the presidency, electing Antonio Jose Seguro of the Socialist Party instead. Al Jazeera’s Natacha Butler reported on the results as Seguro secured a five-year term.
