Police responded to an incident in east Auckland where a person allegedly stole a forklift from a business and drove away on it, leading to a slow getaway attempt in Howick. The suspect was caught on Cook Street by the police, and it is believed that the forklift may have been taken from a nearby bakery, as shown in a photo with two police cars and the driverless forklift between them.
