A 36-year-old man was arrested for allegedly making a Nazi salute at a football game in Sydney, towards a group of people at Moore Park stadium in April. Charged with making a gesture in a public place that is a Nazi salute, he was granted bail on strict conditions and is set to appear before Downing Centre Local Court on November 28. The display of Nazi symbols, including the salute, has been outlawed by the Federal government and NSW parliament to combat the rise of anti-Semitic sentiment in Australia.
