PM Modi to attend Mauritius National Day, strengthen bilateral ties

Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri announced that PM Modi will inaugurate an Indian-assisted civil servant college and health centre in Mauritius, as the two countries prepare to sign agreements on maritime security and ocean modeling. India, a key development partner for Mauritius, has seen significant growth in bilateral trade, with total trade reaching USD 851.13 million in FY 2023-24. Indian defence forces will participate in Mauritius’ national-day celebrations, showcasing the close and longstanding relations between the two nations.
