Gerard Butler Withdraws from PLANE Sequel SHIP

A sequel to the film Plane, titled Ship, has been canceled after co-star Mike Colter revealed that Gerard Butler withdrew from the project just two weeks before production was set to begin. Butler’s dual role as star and producer gave him the final say on the sequel, leading to its demise when he chose not to proceed. Although Plane garnered a solid fanbase and performed well at the box office, Ship will not move forward, leaving the original film as a standalone story.
