The 2026 NBA trade deadline on Feb. 5 is approaching, with the Detroit Pistons holding the best record in the Eastern Conference. Following a significant victory over the Brooklyn Nets, trade rumors are swirling, particularly around forwards Michael Porter Jr. and Trey Murphy III, but opinions vary on whether the Pistons should make a significant move. Some experts suggest addressing their 3-point shooting weakness, while others advocate for acquiring a second high-level scorer to complement All-Star Cade Cunningham. There’s even speculation about a potential trade for Giannis Antetokounmpo, though it seems unlikely.
