Pique summoned in probe over Spanish Super Cup move to Saudi

Barcelona and Spain legend Gerard Pique is set to appear in court on March 14 as part of a corruption investigation into the Spanish Super Cup’s move to Saudi Arabia. Pique, who was placed under investigation last year, is being scrutinized for his involvement in brokering deals worth 40 million euros a year through his company Kosmos. The court has raised concerns about potential illegalities, including a clause guaranteeing a commission of four million euros per year to Kosmos, while former federation chief Luis Rubiales, also implicated, defends the legality of the controversial move.
