Members of the Canadian Armed Forces have arrived in Pimicikamak Cree Nation, Manitoba, to assist with critical water issues following a severe power outage that caused extensive damage, including frozen water systems and burst pipes. Chief David Monias reported that military personnel are assessing a damaged water treatment plant and providing technical support for recovery efforts, with plans for additional crews arriving soon.
