McLaren’s Oscar Piastri secured victory at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, overtaking Red Bull’s Max Verstappen, who received a five-second penalty for gaining an advantage after leaving the track. This win marks Piastri’s third of the season and makes him the first Australian to lead the drivers’ standings since Mark Webber 15 years ago. Charles Leclerc of Ferrari completed the podium, while Piastri now leads the championship with 99 points, 10 ahead of teammate Lando Norris, as F1 heads to Miami in two weeks.
