The Kwinana Freeway reopened after a 10-hour closure due to a fatal crash in Baldivis, where a blue Ford Falcon left the road and struck a tree, resulting in the death of a 44-year-old female passenger. The 40-year-old male driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Royal Perth Hospital. Motorists were advised to seek alternative routes during the closure, which affected peak-hour traffic. Additionally, a separate incident on Leach Highway caused lane disruptions, while debris on the Mitchell Freeway was cleared.
