Pertamina International Shipping CEO Yoki Firnandi was arrested for alleged involvement in a $12bn corruption scandal related to crude oil procurement. He and others are accused of manipulating refinery policies to import crude at inflated prices, causing significant state losses. Yoki has led the company since 2022, and the Attorney-General’s Office in Indonesia has named him as one of seven suspects in the case.
