Pensioner killed in hit-and-run incident

Three arrests have been made following a hit-and-run in Gillingham, Kent, where an 80-year-old man was killed after being struck by a car at a roundabout on the A289 Gads Hill. The victim was reportedly dragged along the car’s bonnet for nearly a mile before being found abandoned by a farm. Police are investigating the incident and have urged witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward. The suspects, aged 29 and two 28-year-olds, remain in custody as inquiries continue.
