Pedestrian fatally struck in Oak Park by Metra train – NBC Chicago

A pedestrian was fatally struck by a Union Pacific-West Metra train in Oak Park, causing delays on the line. The incident occurred at 2:56 p.m. during an outbound UP-W train en route to Elburn. The identity of the individual was unknown, and UPW Train #509 will not stop at the Oak Park station while Train #513 will accommodate passengers.
