Paul Doyle, 53, arrives in court over Liverpool parade crash

Paul Doyle, a 53-year-old man from West Derby, arrived at Liverpool Magistrates’ Court facing multiple charges, including dangerous driving and grievous bodily harm (GBH), after allegedly driving into fans during Liverpool FC’s trophy parade, injuring at least 79 people, including a nine-year-old. Seven individuals remain hospitalized but are in stable condition. Doyle has been charged with two counts each of unlawful and malicious wounding with intent to cause GBH, attempted GBH, and one count of dangerous driving following the incident that occurred on Water Street.
