A patient, Seiitbek Erkin Uulu, avoided jail after attacking paramedics in Rotherhithe, East London, by smashing an ambulance and throwing bricks at them while under the influence of alcohol. He pleaded guilty to multiple charges and was sentenced to 150 hours of community service, a £114 fine, and ordered to abstain from alcohol for four months, amidst rising violence against ambulance staff.
