A man in Adelaide attempted to hijack a bus full of tourists, demanding to be driven to Geelong in Victoria. When the bus driver refused, the man assaulted police officers, including punching two in the head and gouging one officer’s eye. Despite multiple attempts to remove him from the bus, including the use of capsicum spray and a police dog, it took seven officers to finally arrest the 28-year-old man, who was charged for assaulting police and attempting to steal the bus.
