In the Sudanese city of Omdurman, a paramilitary group known as the Rapid Support Forces attacked an open market, killing 54 people and injuring 158 others, according to health authorities. The conflict in Sudan, which began in April 2023, has resulted in numerous deadly attacks, including the recent targeting of a hospital in El Fasher.
