Paramedic Assaults on the Rise

This incident reflects a concerning trend, as Ambulance Victoria reports an increase in occupational assaults against paramedics, especially during the festive season. Vanessa Gorman, a director at Ambulance Victoria, highlighted the alarming severity of these attacks, which include physical and sexual assaults. She emphasized that such violence is unacceptable and should not be viewed as part of the job.
