Panamanian authorities have recaptured a woman who escaped from a hotel where she and nearly 300 deportees from the U.S. were being held, following criticisms over their treatment. The migrants, primarily from Asian countries, are in limbo in Panama as they await repatriation, with some refusing to voluntarily return. Security Minister Frank Abrego said most have agreed to go back, while those remaining will be transferred to a temporary facility near the Darien Gap until their fate is determined.
