Pakistan confirms third mpox case

Pakistani health authorities confirmed a third case of mpox virus in the country this year, with the patient diagnosed after screening at Peshawar airport following his return from Jeddah. Another passenger on the same flight was also hospitalized with symptoms, while a suspected case was reported at Karachi airport. Medical personnel at Peshawar’s Bacha Khan International Airport identified two travelers displaying symptoms of mpox.
