Oscar-winning US actor Gene Hackman and his wife Betsy Arakawa were found dead at their home in Santa Fe, with no signs of foul play according to the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office. Hackman, known for his versatile roles and acclaimed performances, won Academy Awards for The French Connection and Unforgiven, among other nominations, and had lived in Santa Fe since 1991.
