Oregon QB Austin Novosad Enters Transfer Portal

Oregon quarterback Austin Novosad has decided to enter the NCAA transfer portal, becoming the eighth player from the Ducks to do so this offseason. Limited to just one game in 2025, Novosad, a four-star recruit from Texas, struggled to find playing time behind starters Brock Thomas and Luke Moga. His transfer comes amid a crowded quarterback market, with more notable names likely to secure spots first. Oregon’s current quarterback lineup now includes Thomas, Moga, and Akili Smith Jr., as the program navigates ongoing changes.
