The alliance formed by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has gained enough support to become an official group in the European Parliament. The group, known as the European Alliance of People and Nations, brings together right-wing parties from various EU countries that share similar nationalist and anti-immigration views. Orbán’s Fidesz party was suspended from the center-right European People’s Party earlier this year due to concerns over democratic values and the rule of law in Hungary.
