Orange County is preparing for potential litigation from victims of the Airport fire, which was caused by a public works crew and destroyed over 160 structures. The Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to hire the law firm of Meyers Nave to assist in the legal proceedings. Already, four claims for expenses related to the fire have been filed, including costs for destroyed property and hotel fees during evacuation orders.
