One dead, two critically injured after vehicle flees police

One person died and two others were critically injured after a driver fled from the police and crashed in Penrose, Auckland. The driver, in critical condition, failed to stop when signaled by the police, resulting in a collision with two other cars. The Serious Crash Unit is investigating the incident, and a ‘Critical Incident Investigation’ has been launched, with support being provided to those affected and their families.
