Oklahoma Basketball Player Dies from Game Injury in Texas

Connors State College sophomore Ethan Dietz died after sustaining a head injury during a basketball game in Texas. The 6-foot-8 forward from Vilonia, Arkansas, had been averaging 11 points per game and scored six points in his final match. The college announced game cancellations in the wake of his death and offered counseling services to the community. A vigil honoring Dietz is scheduled for December 1 at the college’s campus in Warner, Oklahoma.
