ODIHR opens election observation mission in the United States

The OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) has opened an election observation mission for the 5 November general elections in the United States, following an invitation from national authorities. The United States, as an OSCE participating State, is committed to holding elections in line with OSCE standards and inviting international observers for the eleventh time. ODIHR will assess the elections based on these guidelines, ensuring transparency and adherence to democratic principles.
