Teenager murders ex-girlfriend’s family in Texas

A 15-year-old boy is accused of shooting and killing his ex-girlfriend’s mother, Jessica Rodriguez, and her two siblings, aged 9 and 13, in Odessa, Texas. The shooting occurred at the family’s home after the suspect changed his initial plan to target his ex-girlfriend outside of school. Police described the act as intentional and targeted, with the suspect apprehended shortly after fleeing the scene. He has been charged with capital murder and is in custody at the Ector County Youth Center.
