Palmerston North hydroponics retailer takes Reddit to court to take down ‘harmful’ posts, unmask user identities

A hydroponics retailer, Home Grown Kiwi, owned by Tayte Cozens and Nadine Eales, is pursuing legal action against Reddit in the District Court after the platform refused to remove user comments they claim threaten their family and harm their business. The couple suspects that a disgruntled customer or competitor has posted false reviews and negative information about them, which they allege has resulted in significant financial losses and emotional distress, particularly for Cozens. They are seeking to have the posts taken down and the identities of the posters revealed.
