NYC pols urge Kathy Hochul to temporarily waive ‘sanctuary’ laws

A coalition of NYC Council members, including Robert Holden and Joe Borelli, are urging Gov. Hochul to temporarily waive the city’s “sanctuary city” laws due to increased terror threats from the migrant crisis. They argue that NYC is a prime target for terrorism and cannot afford to be complacent. The nine-member coalition is calling for emergency measures to address the ongoing security concerns.
