NSW Police are investigating the public display of Nazi symbols after a man was seen with extremist tattoos at Bar Beach, Newcastle, on Christmas Eve. Local resident Ben Parsons reported the encounter, noting tattoos linked to white supremacy, including the Nazi SS insignia. He has since contacted Crime Stoppers and is collaborating with police to test new hate symbol laws. The display of such symbols has been illegal in NSW since 2022, and inquiries are ongoing.
