Norway’s Schjelderup Found Guilty of Sharing Minors’ Sexual Video

Andreas Schjelderup, a 21-year-old Norwegian national team football player, pleaded guilty in a Danish court for sharing sexual material of two under-18 boys, receiving a two-week suspended prison sentence. He admitted to forwarding a 27-second video he received on Snapchat to a group chat, realizing its illegality shortly after and deleting it. Schjelderup expressed remorse for his actions in an Instagram statement. His lawyer is considering an appeal, while Schjelderup remains with Portuguese club Benfica.
