Heartbroken mother forced to send stillborn baby from Northern Ireland to Liverpool for post-mortem

Victoria Buckley, a mother from Northern Ireland, experienced indescribable pain when her son, Ollie, was born sleeping at 37 weeks and had to be sent to Liverpool for a post-mortem due to the lack of specialist paediatric pathologists in the region. The arrangement, in place since 2019, caused the grieving mother to say goodbye to her baby multiple times, leaving her apart from Ollie for precious days in between his delivery and funeral. Ms. Buckley is now calling for an end to this cruel and unnatural process that still persists six years later.
