North Korea and Russia Strengthen Ties with New Bridge Construction

North Korea and Russia have initiated the construction of their first road bridge across the Tumen River, a significant milestone in their bilateral relations, following North Korea’s military support for Russia in its war against Ukraine. The two-lane bridge, which will be over half a mile long, aims to enhance passenger and commercial traffic and is expected to take 18 months to complete.
