Starting from Sunday, residents in Noida and Ghaziabad will experience a 20-day water shortage as the UP Irrigation Department suspends Ganga water supply for maintenance work on the upper Ganga canal in Haridwar. Approximately 10 lakh people in areas like Indirapuram, Vasundhara, and Vaishali will be affected, with alternative water arrangements in place but limited availability and pressure. Residents in affected areas are advised to conserve water, utilize alternative sources, and expect disruptions until November 2.
