Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem highlighted TSA operations at Miami International Airport, stating that over the past year, more than 10,000 individuals with suspected narcoterrorism ties and 85,000 linked to terrorism were prevented from traveling. The airport’s human trafficking unit made 24 arrests related to child exploitation and confiscated 85 firearms.
