British actor Noah Jupe will star in Play Dead, a survival thriller directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, described as Don’t Breathe meets 1917, with production starting in Melbourne in May. The script, penned by Peter Stanley-Ward and Natalie Conway, is financed by Nocturnal and produced alongside Ghost House Pictures, BoulderLight Pictures, and Bad Grey, with several notable producers involved. Jupe’s recent projects include roles in Apple series Franklin and Lady in the Lake, and he has upcoming films including The Carpenter’s Son with Nicolas Cage and Hamnet directed by Chloé Zhao.
