No evidence of election law breaches in former Liberal MP Han Dong's nomination race, watchdog says

Independent MP Han Dong appeared as a witness in the Public Inquiry Into Foreign Interference, following allegations of Chinese manipulation during the 2019 Liberal nomination race in Don Valley North. Although the foreign interference task force reported suspicious behavior, the Commissioner of Canada Elections found no evidence of violations of federal election laws, closing the investigation without imposing sanctions.
