Nintendo has reportedly sent lawyers to accessory maker Genki at CES 2025 after a full-size mockup of the upcoming console leaked online. Genki showcased a teaser for Switch 2 accessories resembling the Nintendo Switch, with Joy-Con controllers snapping onto a charging station. Despite Genki claiming no confidentiality agreements with Nintendo, the console maker stated the images and mockups were “not official” and emphasized that the Genki mockup is unofficial and not provided by them.
