Ninove police station expands hours under Mayor D’haeseleer’s leadership

Starting January 6, the Ninove police station will operate daily from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with Mayor Guy D’haeseleer planning to extend hours to include night shifts on weekends, improving community service accessibility. Previously limited to weekday hours and closed on weekends and holidays, the station will now be open every day, allowing visitors to come without appointments but with potential waiting times, while appointments can still be made in advance for those who prefer. D’haeseleer aims for further extended hours in the evenings and weekends, with the possibility of night shifts on weekends and making use of the station’s cells for arrests, pending officer availability, with the city council aiming to make these changes permanent.
