DC Studios is reimagining Lex Luthor for a new era with Nicholas Hoult cast as the iconic villain in James Gunn’s upcoming Superman film, set to release on July 11, 2025. The film will not cover Superman’s origin, instead featuring a world where superheroes already exist, with David Corenswet as Superman and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, alongside a diverse cast of supporting characters.
