Newly discovered flaw makes some YubiKeys vulnerable to cloning

Researchers have discovered a cryptographic flaw in the popular YubiKey 5 series, a hardware security key used for two-factor authentication. This flaw, known as a side-channel attack, compromises the device’s security, despite its intended purpose of adding an extra layer of protection beyond passwords.
