Newcastle ‘Seriously’ Interested in €50M Lazio Midfielder
Newcastle is reportedly targeting Lazio midfielder Matteo Guendouzi to strengthen their squad, particularly as they face potential departures, including Sandro Tonali. Despite having a solid midfield trio, the club is keen on securing Guendouzi, who has impressed since his move from Olympique Marseille to Lazio in 2023, contributing one goal and five assists in 45 appearances. Lazio president Claudio Lotito has set an asking price of €50 million for the French international, leaving Newcastle to decide whether to meet this valuation.
