New York City destroys more than 3,500 seize illegal firearms

Tisch recently celebrated the destruction of 3,375 illegal handguns and 200 rifles, a small part of over 21,400 firearms seized since Adams took office. The weapons were shredded and recycled, with the material to be used for a memorial honoring gun violence victims.
