Yemen’s Saudi-backed presidential council has announced the formation of a new government, appointing Shaya Mohsen Zindani as prime minister, who will also retain his role as foreign minister. This follows the acceptance of former Prime Minister Salem bin Breik’s resignation. Additional appointments include Marwan Faraj bin Ghanim as finance minister, Mohamed Abdullah Ali as oil minister, and Taher Ali al-Uqaili as defence minister, as reported by the state-run news agency Saba.
