Two audio clips of the main leaders of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan have surfaced on social media, supporting former PM Imran Khan’s party’s claim that the Feb 8 elections were rigged. In one clip, Sindh governor Kamran Tessori is heard saying, “They say that our mandate is 100% fake.” Tessori mentions the party’s shift in loyalties and the lack of votes in the recent elections. He also expresses dissatisfaction with the allocation of ministries and governorship. In another clip, senior deputy convener Mustafa Kamal discusses similar concerns raised by rival parties. MQM-P has secured 17 National Assembly seats in Karachi, with allegations of electoral fraud and seat distribution among other parties.
