Nagasaki’s Immaculate Conception Cathedral was rebuilt in 1959 after being almost completely destroyed in the explosion.

Nagasaki commemorates the 80th anniversary of the atomic bombing with its cathedral’s twin bells ringing together for the first time since 1945.
