Severe snowstorms in the Greater Toronto Area have led to significant municipal disruptions, with Environment Canada warning of up to 50 cm of snow and poor visibility. Toronto has closed libraries and several recreational services, while schools are monitoring conditions for potential exam cancellations. Transit services are heavily affected, with many bus stops out of service and a majority of flights from Pearson International Airport cancelled. Mississauga has implemented a citywide parking restriction to facilitate snow clearing, while Brampton’s libraries have also shut down due to hazardous weather.
