Fenerbahce manager Jose Mourinho has been suspended for three matches and fined for “unsportsmanlike conduct” during a Turkish Cup quarter-final against Galatasaray, where he appeared to poke the opposing coach in the nose. The ban applies to Cup matches only, allowing Mourinho to continue coaching in the league. Other team members and staff also received suspensions and fines, with the PFDK still reviewing disciplinary actions for Galatasaray players. The incident comes amid a challenging period for Mourinho, as Fenerbahce has been eliminated from the Europa League and trails Galatasaray by six points in the Super League.
